How To Blog On Facebook

If you are wondering how to blog on Facebook then this post is for you.

I think just about everyone I know owns a computer or laptop. And probably 80% of those use social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

It seems that the internet is the “new” way of us connecting with people.

For example, a few years back, my Mom was feeling a little frustrated because she felt that the grandkids didn’t keep in touch with her. She really missed them. Because they were scattered all over the world, she didn’t get to see them very much. Really she only got to see them every few years when we had a family reunion.

So for her birthday that year we (me and my siblings) got her a laptop. We set up an email for her and created a Facebook Profile. Then we showed her how to use it.

At first she found it a bit confusing to navigate. But then, oh my goodness! She Loves Facebook. It seems like she is always online these days.:)

My point is social websites and the internet is the new way people communicate.

So of course Facebook is the best place to share your blog.

People don’t make phone calls often anymore. Instead they text or use the free download facebook messenger to chat on their phone with Facebook Friends.

Another thing that I noticed about Facebook is that people love to share pictures (called selfies) and blog posts. It is just fun to show your uniqueness.

If you love the internet and enjoy Facebook, why not start your own blog? It’s fun! And you can even make some money on the side! How cool is that!?

Blogging is a great hobby and if you like it, you can even turn it into a money making business like I have.

So back to the question…how to blog on Facebook?

The best way to blog on Facebook is to create your blog for free. Creating a blog is easy and fun!

You can create a personal blog where you just write what ever you want. It could be used as sort of a journal, or you can do a niche website where you write about a specific topic. I have lots of goodies and free information here on my site to help you get started.

Once you create your blog and start writing posts, you can share them with your Facebook friends and family.

That’s great advice but you have to be careful not to let Facebook take over your life.

I find I have to set myself a schedule to work with social media otherwise I’d never get anything done.

I agree with you Ray. A person can easily lose a few hours a day with social media like Facebook.

It’s funny that some people think that FB is a blog. What they don’t get is that most people use FB to read short quips, not longer posts. However, I find it useful to link back to my blogs and other writings.

Yep, people think that Facebook is a blog. It isn’t it is a social media platform in which we can share our blog posts and connect with others. Thanks for your comment.

Wendy, you just reminded me that I should get a proper profile picture of myself – even a selfie will do – instead of using an animation. I am sure my readers will want to see the real person behind my blog.

That is a good idea Cathy. But I hope I can recognize you. I only know you by your animation.
